Many of you may have noticed that when you are in the Civil 3D 2007 or LDT 2007 Layer manager it appears very primitive, you are missing many of the functions, such as filtering, that you had in previous releases. I have a fix for you :)
1. Start --> Run --> type in Regedit
2. Expand -->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AUTODESK\AutoCAD\R17.0\ACAD-5000:409 (ACAD-5008:409 for LDT)\Applications\AcLayer\ADT
3. Select ADT the Right-click and choose Modify
4. Enter: AeclayerManagerEx.dll into the data value
Now I cannot take full credit for this, it was one of my fellow ICE'ers that let us in on this little know secret! Thank you Matt!
